2004 GARZÓN HOUSE RENOVATION PROJECT

la antilla-LEPE

The project is a reflection of the old concept of a dual exterior-interior, committed to a porch-room-patio sequence, and transforming the sea into an immediate presence. A natural point of convergence/main support axis, that breaks up the current symmetry of the house, organizes the space between the supporting walls of the bedrooms by supporting itself on a strong containing wall. The patio which now picks up the best exposure, is what introduces articulated light to the interior space, stressing this with its lines and sweeping levels.
