NAN Contract architects have chosen bamboo from GUBIA in the interior design of this ophtalmological clinic in Madrid.

Inside an oriental-style domines the space with lacquered doors with solid bamboo frames, bamboo panelings, a solid bamboo flooring and custom furniture made of the same material.

Outside an original lattice made of charred wood, according to the Japanese technique Shou Sugi Ban, covers the facade of the building as a visual filter between the clinic and the street. Our technicians are studied several wood species and different degrees of flame exposure, as well as a finishing resistant to the surface carbon layer.
